حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَنْتُمْ جُزْءٌ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ جُزْءٍ مِمَّنْ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ» قُلْتُ كَمْ كُنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ «سَبْعُمِائَةِ رَجُلٍ أَوْ ثَمَانِمِائَةٍ رَجُلٍ»

✧ I heard Zayd b. Arqam say: We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said, "You are one part out of a hundred thousand parts of those who will come to me at the Pond." I said, "How many were you that day?" He said, "Seven hundred men or eight hundred men."
