✧ Translation: "Wahb, father of Muhammad, narrated from Zaid bin Thabit

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّوَّافُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ثنا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «نَضَّرَ اللهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَحَمَلَهَا إِلَى غَيْرِهِ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَرَبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “May God brighten a servant who hears my statement and carries it to someone else, for many a bearer of understanding conveys it to one more learned than himself, and many a bearer of understanding is not a jurist.”
