حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ الضَّرِيرُ قَالَا ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

يَغْفِرُ اللهُ لِرَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ أَنَا وَاللهِ كُنْتُ أَعْلَمَ بِالْحَدِيثِ مِنْهُ إِنَّمَا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلَانِ قَدِ اقْتَتَلَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ كَانَ هَذَا شَأْنُكُمْ فَلَا تُكْرُوا الْمَزَارِعَ» فَسَمِعَ رَافِعٌ قَوْلَهُ «لَا تُكْرُوا الْمَزَارِعَ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ مُسَدَّدٍ

✧ May Allah forgive Rafi' b. Khadij. By Allah, I knew the hadith better than he did. Two men came to the Prophet ﷺ who had fought each other, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If this is your affair, then do not lease farmland." Rafi' heard his saying "do not lease farmland." The wording is from the hadith of Musaddad.
