حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيُّ ثنا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

نَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قِبَلَ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ» وَنَظَرَ قِبَلَ الْعِرَاقِ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ» وَنَظَرَ قِبَلَ الشَّامِ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَقْبِلْ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَمُدِّنَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked toward Yemen and said, “O Allah, turn their hearts.” He looked toward Iraq and said, “O Allah, turn their hearts.” He looked toward Syria and said, “O Allah, turn their hearts and bless us in our ṣāʿ and our mudd.”
