حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا ثنا اللَّيْثُ
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي مَغَالَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَأَبَا طَلْحَةَ بْنَ سَهْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّيْنِ يَقُولَانِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنَ امْرِئٍ يَخْذُلُ مُسْلِمًا فِي مَوْطِنٍ يُنْتَقَصُ فِيهِ مِنْ عِرْضِهِ وَيُنْتَهَكُ فِيهِ مِنْ حُرْمَتِهِ إِلَّا خَذَلَهُ اللهُ فِي مَوْطِنٍ يُحِبُّ فِيهِ نُصْرَتَهُ وَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَنْصُرُ مُسْلِمًا فِي مَوْطِنٍ يُنْتَقَصُ فِيهِ مِنْ عِرْضِهِ وَيُنْتَهَكُ فِيهِ مِنْ حُرْمَتِهِ إِلَّا نَصَرَهُ اللهُ فِي مَوْطِنٍ يُحِبُّ فِيهِ نُصْرَتَهُ»

✧ Yaḥyā b. Sulaym b. Zayd, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, narrated to me that he heard Ismāʿīl b. Bashīr, the freed slave of Banū Maghālah, saying: I heard Jābir b. ʿAbd Allāh and Abū Ṭalḥah b. Sahl al-Anṣārī, the two Anṣārīs, saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is no person who forsakes a Muslim in a place where his honor is diminished and his sanctity is violated, except that Allah forsakes him in a place where he loves His help. And there is no one who helps a Muslim in a place where his honor is diminished and his sanctity is violated, except that Allah helps him in a place where he loves His help.”
