حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْفِرْغَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَسَارِيرُ وَجْهِهِ تَبْرُقُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا رَأَيْتُكَ أَطْيَبَ نَفْسًا وَلَا أَظْهَرَ بِشْرًا مِنْكَ فِي يَوْمِكَ هَذَا فَقَالَ وَمَا لِي لَا تَطِيبُ نَفْسِي وَلَا يَظْهَرُ بِشْرِي وَإِنَّمَا فَارَقَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ صَلَاةً كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا عَشَرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَمَحَا عَنْهُ عَشَرَ سَيِّئَاتٍ وَرَفَعَهُ بِهَا عَشَرَ دَرَجَاتٍ وَقَالَ لَهُ الْمَلَكُ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ لَكَ قُلْتُ يَا جِبْرِيلُ وَمَا ذَاكَ الْمَلَكُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ وَكَّلَ بِكَ مَلَكًا مِنْ لَدُنِ خَلْقِكَ إِلَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ إِلَّا قَالَ وَأَنْتَ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْكَ

✧ I entered upon the Messenger of God ﷺ and the features of his face were shining. I said: O Messenger of God, I have never seen you more pleasant in spirit or more cheerful of countenance than on this day of yours. He said: “And why should my spirit not be pleasant and my countenance not be cheerful when Jibril ﷺ has just left me this hour? He said: O Muhammad, whoever sends a blessing upon you from your community, God records for him ten good deeds, erases from him ten evil deeds, and raises him by it ten degrees, and the angel says to him the like of what he said to you. I said: O Jibril, and what angel is that? He said: God ﷻ has appointed an angel over you from the time He created you until He resurrects you; no one from your community sends a blessing upon you except that he says: And may God send blessings upon you.”
