حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا جَسْرُ بْنُ فَرْقَدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَيْتُهُ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ حَسَنَ الْبِشْرِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا رَأَيْتُكَ أَطْيَبَ نَفْسًا مِنْكَ الْيَوْمَ فَقَالَ «وَمَا يَمْنَعَنْي وَالْمَلِكُ خَبَّرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَنَا ومَلَائِكَتِي عَشْرًا وَمَنْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكَ سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَنَا ومَلَائِكَتِي عَشْرًا»

✧ I entered upon the Messenger of God ﷺ and found him pleasant in spirit and cheerful of countenance. I said: O Messenger of God, I have never seen you more pleasant in spirit than today. He said: “And what would prevent me, when the angel has informed me that whoever sends blessings upon you, I and My angels send ten blessings upon him, and whoever greets you with peace, I and My angels greet him with peace ten times.”
