حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا الدِّينَوَرِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَوَّابٍ الْحُصَرِيُّ ثنا مُطَهَّرُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الطَّائِفِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِصْرًا سَتُفْتَحُ فَانْتَجِعُوا خَيْرَهَا وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا دَارًا إِنَّهُ يُسَاقُ إِلَيْهَا أَقَلُّ النَّاسِ أَعْمَارًا»

Translation

  2. Saʿīd b. Muḥammad b. Bawwāb al-Ḥuṣarī

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Egypt will be conquered, so seek the best of its pasture, but do not make it a dwelling, for the people with the shortest lifespans will be driven to it."
