حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ ابْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَاقِفًا مَعَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُهُ بَعْدَ مَا بُعِثَ وَاقِفًا فِي مَوْقِفِهِ ذَلِكَ فَعَلِمْتُ أَنَّ اللهَ وَفَقَّهُ لِذَلِكَ»

✧ "I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ standing with the polytheists at 'Arafat, then I saw him after he was sent standing at his station there, so I knew that God had guided him to that."
