حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُزَيْقِ بْنِ جَامِعٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو طَاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ ثنا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِهِ فَنَادَاهُ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِ فَمَشَى مَعَهُ حَتَّى أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَرَآهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَثَرَ الْغُسْلِ فَسَأَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ غُسْلِهِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ نِدَاءَكَ وَأَنَا أُجَامِعُ امْرَأَتِي فَقُمْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَفْرُغَ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ «إِذَا جَاوَزَ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by him and called him. He went out to him and walked with him until he reached the mosque, then he left, performed ghusl, and returned. The Prophet ﷺ saw the trace of ghusl on him and asked him about his ghusl. He said: I heard your call while I was having intercourse with my wife, so I got up before finishing and performed ghusl. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Water is only from water.” Then after that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: “When the two circumcised parts meet, ghusl becomes obligatory.”
