حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ قَالَا ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

رَخَّصَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِينَ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ» وَلَوِ اسْتَزَدْنَاهُ لَزَادَنَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted us a concession regarding wiping over the leather socks: “Three days and their nights for travelers, and for the resident a day and a night.” And if we had asked for more, he would have increased it.
