حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْجَوْنِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ قَالَا ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا قَيْسٌ عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِجَمْعٍ ثَلَاثًا وَاثْنَتَيْنِ» قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَشُعْبَةُ وَزُهَيْرٌ وَغَيْرُهُمْ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ وَخَالَفَهُمْ غَيْلَانُ وَجَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ فَقَالَا عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَالصَّوَابُ حَدِيثُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَرَوَاهُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ

✧ “The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed at Jam’ (Muzdalifah) three [rak’ahs] and two [rak’ahs].” Abu al-Qasim said: This hadith was narrated by Yahya b. Sa’id al-Ansari, Shu’bah, Zuhayr and others from ‘Adi b. Thabit, from ‘Abd Allah b. Yazid, from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. Ghaylan and Jabir al-Ju’fi disagreed with them and said, from Khuzaymah b. Thabit. The correct version is the hadith of Abu Ayyub. Al-Thawri also narrated it from ‘Adi b. Thabit, from ‘Abd Allah b. Yazid, from Abu Ayyub.
