حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever fights in defense of his property until he is killed is a martyr.”
