حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ غُلَيْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ السَّاعِدِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَمْنَعُنَا أَزْوَاجُنَا أَنَّ نُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ وَنُحِبُّ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَكَ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي حُجُرِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي دُورِكُنَّ وَصَلَاتُكُنَّ فِي دُورِكُنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِكُنَّ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ»

✧ I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, our husbands prevent us from praying with you, and we love to pray with you.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Your prayer in your houses is better than your prayer in your rooms, and your prayer in your rooms is better than your prayer in your courtyards, and your prayer in your courtyards is better than your prayer in congregation.'
