حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ هِشَامٍ بِنْتِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَتْ لَقَدْ

مَكَثْنَا سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ سَنَةً وَبَعْضَ سَنَةٍ وَإِنَّ تَنُّورَنَا وَتَنُّورَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَاحِدٌ وَمَا «حَفِظْتُ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ إِلَّا مِنْ لِسَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَؤُهَا عَلَى النَّاسِ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ إِذَا خَطَبَ»

✧ We stayed two years, or a year and part of a year, while our oven and the oven of the Messenger of God ﷺ were one. And I did not memorize Qāf wal-Qurʾān al-Majīd except from the tongue of the Messenger of God ﷺ, who used to recite it to the people every Friday when he delivered the sermon.
