حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ «كَانَتِ §امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ مِنَ اللَّاتِي

بَايَعْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَدِمَتِ الْبَصْرَةَ تُبَادِرُ ابْنًا لَهَا فَلَمْ تُدْرِكُهُ» فَحَدَّثَتْنَا وَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ

✧ "We pledged to the Messenger of God ﷺ. She came to Basra seeking a son of hers, but she did not find him." She narrated to us, and he mentioned something like the hadith of Maʿmar.
