حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عَقِيلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ قَالَتْ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ فَقَرَأَ فِيهَا وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا وَكَانَ آخِرَ شَيْءٍ صَلَّى ثُمَّ لَمْ يُصَلِّ بَعْدَهَا

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ pray Maghrib, and he recited therein “By those sent forth in succession” (al-Mursalāt). That was the last prayer he prayed; he did not pray after it.
