حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْباعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ دُرَّةَ بِنْتَ مُعَاذٍ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ

أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَتَزَاوَرُ إِذَا مِتْنَا وَيَرَى بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَكُونُ النَّسَمُ طَيْرًا تَعْلِقُ بِالشَّجَرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ دَخَلَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ فِي جَسَدِهَا»

✧ that she asked the Messenger of God ﷺ: Will we visit one another when we die, and will some of us see others? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “The souls will be birds that cling to trees, until when the Day of Resurrection comes, every soul will enter its body.”
