حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ثنا فَائِدٌ الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ السُّبَّاقُ أَرْبَعَةٌ أَنَا سَابِقُ الْعَرَبِ وَسَلْمَانُ سَابِقُ فَارِسَ وَصُهَيْبٌ سَابِقُ الرُّومِ وَبِلَالٌ سَابِقُ الْحَبَشِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The foremost are four: I am the foremost of the Arabs, Salman is the foremost of Persia, Suhayb is the foremost of the Byzantines, and Bilal is the foremost of the Abyssinians.'
