حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مَاهَكَ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ مَدْخَلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقَالَتْ دَخَلَ الضُّحَى فَسَكَبْنا لَهُ مَاءً فِي صَحْفَةٍ لَنَا إِنِّي لَأَرَى فِيهَا وَضَرُ الْعَجِينِ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّ ذَلِكَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أَتَوَضَّأَ أَمِ اغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ لِمَسْجِدٍ فِي بَيْتِهَا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ

Translation

✧ He entered upon Umm Hani' bt. Abi Talib and asked her about the entry of the Messenger of God ﷺ on the day of the conquest. She said, 'He entered at mid-morning, and we poured water for him in a bowl of ours; I could see traces of dough in it.' Yusuf said, 'I do not know which she told me: did he perform ablution or bathe? Then he prayed four rak'ahs in this mosque—meaning a prayer area in her house.'
