حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلِيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ فَقُلْتُ أَلَا تُعْذِرُنِي مِنْ عَلِيٍّ؟ قَالَ «مَا لَهُ؟» قُلْتُ جَاءَنِي رَجُلٌ فَعَاذَ بِي فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ تَنَحَّيْ عَنِّي وَإِلَّا أَنْفَذْتُكِ بِالرُّمْحِ وَإِنَّهُ طَعَنَنِي فِي مُقَدِّمِ رَأْسِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا كَانَ عَلِيٌّ لِيَطْعَنُكِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ entered upon me on the day of the conquest. I said, 'Will you not excuse me from 'Ali?' He said, 'What is the matter with him?' I said, 'A man came to me and sought my protection, and 'Ali said, "Get away from me, or I will run you through with the spear," and he struck me on the front of my head.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Ali would not strike you.'
