حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ فَجَلَسَتْ عَنْ يَسَارِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأُمُّ هَانِئٍ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَأُتِيَ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ شَرَابٌ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ فَشَرِبَتْ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ أَفْطَرْتُ وَكُنْتُ صَائِمَةً فَقَالَ «هَلْ كُنْتِ تَقْضِينَ شَيْئًا؟» قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ «فَلَا يَضُرُّكِ إِنْ كَانَ تَطَوُّعًا»

✧ On the day of the conquest of Makkah, Fatimah came and sat on the left of the Messenger of God ﷺ, and Umm Hani' on his right. A vessel containing a drink was brought, and he drank from it, then he handed it to Umm Hani' and she drank from it. Then she said, 'O Messenger of God, I have broken my fast, for I was fasting.' He said, 'Were you making up something?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'Then it does not harm you if it was voluntary.'
