حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ قَالَتْ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ {وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ} قَالَ «كَانُوا يَحْذِفُونَ مَنْ مَرَّ بِهِمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ وَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُ»

✧ I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ about His saying, “And you commit abomination in your assemblies.” He said, “They used to throw stones at those who passed by them on the road and mock him.”
