✧ Fatimah bt. Asad bin Hashim, the mother of Ali b. Abi Talib.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ

«أَعْتَقَتِ ابْنَةُ حَمْزَةَ غُلَامًا فَمَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَأَخَذَتْ بِنْتُ حَمْزَةَ النِّصْفَ وَابْنَتُهُ النِّصْفَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

✧ The daughter of Hamzah freed a slave boy, and he died leaving a daughter. The daughter of Hamzah took half and his daughter took half during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ.
