✧ The Silence of al-Laythiyah

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَهِيَ شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَإِنِّي شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَ «حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي قُولِي اللهُمَّ إِنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon Dubāʿah bint al-Zubayr b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib while she was ill. She said, "I intend to perform Hajj, but I am ill." He said: "Perform Hajj and stipulate a condition. Say: O Allah, my place of exiting ihram is wherever You detain me."
