حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ثنا عَمِّي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي قُرَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ عَنْ أُخْتِهِ الصَّمَّاءِ قَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ إِلَّا فِيمَا افْتُرِضَ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامُهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِلَّا لِحَى أَوْ غَرْسِ عِنَبٍ فَلْيَمْضُغْهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Do not fast on Saturday except in what its fasting is obligatory upon you, and if one finds nothing but the bark of a tree or a grape vine, let him chew it."
