حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ثنا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ الرُّبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ تَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَوَضَّأَ فَأَخَذَ لِرَأْسِهِ ماءًا جَدِيدًا أَدْبَرَ بِيَدَيْهِ وَأَقْبَلَ بِهِمَا»

✧ I heard al-Rubayyiʿ bt. Muʿawwidh b. ʿAfrāʾ say: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ perform ablution. He took fresh water for his head, moving his hands back and forth over it.
