✧ Khawlah bt. Hakim b. Umayah b. Harithah b. al-Auqas b. Marrah b. Hilal As-Sulamiyyah "The Wife of Uthman b. Mazh'un, and she was among those who dedicated themselves to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَقُولُ زَعَمَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ خَوْلَةُ بِنْتُ حَكِيمٍ امْرَأَةُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا وَهُوَ مُحْتَضِنٌ أَحَدَ بَنِي ابْنَتِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «وَاللهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتُبَخِّلُونَ وَتُجَبِّنُونَ وَتُجَهِّلُونَ وإِنَّكُمْ لَمِنْ رَيْحَانِ اللهِ وإِنَّ آخِرَ وَطْأَةٍ وَطَأَها رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ بِوَجٍّ» زَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ آخِرُ غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الطَّائِفَ وَقَالَ الشَّاعِرُ لأَطْلُبَنَّكُمْ وَطْأَةَ الْمُتَناقِلِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out one day holding one of his daughter's children, saying: “By Allah, you make people stingy, cowardly, and ignorant, and you are among the sweet basil of Allah, and the last place where the Lord of the worlds set foot was Wajj.” Ibn Abī ʿUmar added in his narration: Sufyān said: The last expedition the Prophet ﷺ undertook was to al-Ṭāʾif. And the poet said: “I will surely seek you out with the tread of the one who moves about.”
