✧ Hamnah bt. Jahsh, also known as Umm Habibah, she was the wife of Abdurrahman b. Awf, and she was the sister of Zainab, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنِ ابْنِ بُجَيْدٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَرُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفٍ مُحْرَقٍ»

✧ Al-Qa'nabi narrated to us from Malik. And Abu Yazid Yusuf b. Yazid al-Qaratisi narrated to us; Abdullah b. Abd al-Hakam narrated to us. And Bakr b. Sahl narrated to us; Abdullah b. Yusuf narrated to us. They said: Ibn Anas informed us from Zayd b. Aslam from Ibn Bujayd from his grandmother that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Do not turn away a beggar, even if with a burnt hoof."
