حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصٍ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ثنا شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَبْصَرَ امْرَأَةً عَلَيْهَا سِوَارَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ «أَيَسُرُّكِ أَنْ يُسَوِّرَكِ اللهُ بِسُوَارَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ؟» فَخَلَعَتْهَا مِنْ يَدِهَا فَطَرَحَتْهَا فَلَا أَدْرِي مَنْ أَخَذَهُمَا

Translation

✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ when he saw a woman wearing two bracelets of gold. He said: "Would it please you for Allah to adorn you with two bracelets of fire?" She took them off her hand and threw them away, and I do not know who took them.
