حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ

أَنَّهَا زَارَتْ أُخْتَهَا عَائِشَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرُ غَائِبٌ فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَوَجَدَ رِيحَ طِيبٍ فَقَالَ «مَا عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ لَا تَطَيَّبَ وَزَوْجُهَا غَائِبٌ»

✧ She visited her sister Aisha while al-Zubayr was away, and the Prophet ﷺ entered and smelled perfume. He said: “What is wrong with a woman that she should not perfume herself when her husband is absent?”
