حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ثنا عَمِّي ثنا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ السَّبَّاقِ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ مَوْلَاتَهَا تُصُدِّقَ عَلَيْهَا بِلَحْمٍ فَصَنَعَتْهُ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ عَشَاءٍ؟» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَدْ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى فُلَانَةَ بِعُضْوٍ مِنْ لَحْمٍ وَقَدْ صَنَعْتُهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَرِّبُوهُ فَقَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحَلَّهَا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا»

✧ He informed him that Juwayriyah bt. al-Ḥārith, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, told him that her freedwoman had been given some meat as charity, so she prepared it. When the Messenger of God ﷺ returned, he said, “Do you have any supper?” I said, “O Messenger of God, such-and-such a woman was given a portion of meat as charity, and I prepared it.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Bring it close, for it has reached its proper place,” and he ate some of it.
