حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ عُرْفَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ قَالَ §افْتَخَرَتْ عَائِشَةُ وَزَيْنَبُ فَقَالَتْ
زَيْنَبُ «أَنَا الَّذِي زَوَّجَنِي اللهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ» وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ «أَنَا الَّذِي نَزَلَ عُذْرِي حِينَ حَمَلَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ الْمُعَطَّلِ» فَقَالَتْ لَهَا زَيْنَبُ «أَيُّ شَيْءٍ قُلْتِ حِينَ رَكِبْتِ؟» قَالَتْ قُلْتُ «حَسْبِيَ اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ» قَالَتْ «قُلْتِ كَلِمَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ»

✧ Zainab said, "I am the one whom Allah married from the heavens." Aisha said, "I am the one whom Sufwan bin al-Muattal blamed when he carried me." Then Zainab said to her, "What did you say when you rode?". She said, "I said 'Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best disposer of affairs.'" Zainab said, "You said the word of the believers."
