حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ
فِي قَوْلِهِ {سُنَّةَ اللهِ فِي الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ} قَالَ «دَاوُدُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ الَّتِي نَكَحَ وَزَوْجُهَا اسْمُهَا الْيَسِيعُ فَذَلِكَ سَنَةٌ فِي مُحَمَّدٍ وَزَيْنَبَ»
Translation

✧ Concerning His saying {The established way of God among those who passed away before}, he said, "David and the woman whom he married, whose husband was named al-Yasa'. That is a precedent for Muhammad and Zaynab."
