حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يَخْطُبُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا صُنِعَ الْمِنْبَرُ حَنَّ الْجِذْعُ فَاعْتَنَقَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَسَكَنَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to deliver the khutbah leaning on a trunk in the mosque. When the pulpit was made, the trunk yearned, so the Prophet ﷺ embraced it, and it became still.
