✧ The Prophet's Entry ﷺ to Aisha with Qaynah Singing

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ الْعِجْلُ ثنا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْقُومَسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَسْتُ أَتَعَجَّبُ مِنْ بَصَرِكِ بِالشِّعْرِ أَقُولُ زَوْجَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَابْنَةُ عَلَّامَةِ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنْ أَتَعَجَّبُ مِنْ بَصَرِكِ بِالطِّبِّ فَقَالَتْ «يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا طُعِنَ فِي السِّنِّ سَقِمَ فَوَرَدَتِ الْوُفُودُ فَنُعِتَ لَهُ فَمِنْ ثَمَّ»

✧ I said to Aisha: "O Mother of the Believers, I am not surprised at your insight into poetry, for I say you are the wife of the Messenger of God ﷺ and the daughter of the most learned of people. But I am surprised at your insight into medicine." She said: "O son of my sister, when the Messenger of God ﷺ advanced in age and fell ill, delegations came, and remedies were described to him, so from that."
