✧ The skin of the Prophet ﷺ and the companions of the false accusation

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَبُو عَلْقَمَةَ الْفَرْوِيُّ ثنا قُدَامَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ ثنا مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ حَدَّ اللهُ الَّذِينَ شَتَمُوا عَائِشَةَ ثَمَانِينَ ثَمَانِينَ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ فَيَسْتَوْهِبُ رَبِّي الْمُهَاجِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ فَأَسْتَأْمِرُكِ يَا عَائِشَةُ» فَسَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةُ الْكَلَامَ فَبَكَتْ وَهِيَ فِي الْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ قَالَتْ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا لَسُرُورُكَ أَطْيَبُ إِلَيَّ مِنْ سُرُورِي فَتَبَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ضَاحِكًا وَقَالَ «ابْنَةُ أَبِيهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah will flog those who slandered Aisha eighty lashes each before all creatures. My Lord will seek forgiveness for the Muhajirun among them, and I will consult you, O Aisha." Aisha heard the speech and wept while she was in the house. Then she said: "By the One who sent you with the truth as a prophet, your joy is more beloved to me than my own joy." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiled, laughing, and said: "The daughter of her father."
