✧ Interpretation of His statement {And let not those of virtue among you and wealth hesitate [to give]}. Surah al-Nur ayah

حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ

عَنْ قَتَادَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ} قَالَ أُنْزِلَتْ فِي شَأْنِ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

✧ From Qatadah regarding His saying: {Indeed, those who accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.} He said: It was revealed concerning the affair of 'A'ishah ؓ.
