حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُ مَا قِيلَ قَالَ وَاللهِ مَا كَشَفْتُ مُنْذُ كُنْتُ أُنْثَى قَطُّ وَلَقُتِلَ شَهِيدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَكَانَ عُرْوَةُ لَا يُسَمِّيهِ

✧ The man about whom it was said what was said said, "By God, I have never uncovered a female since I have been born, and he was killed as a martyr in the path of God." Urwah did not name him.
