حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ الْحَنَّاطُ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَسُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ غَالِبٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا نَالَ مِنْ عَائِشَةَ عِنْدَ عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَمَّارٌ «اسْكُتْ مَقْبُوحًا مَنْبُوحًا أَتُؤْذِي حَبِيبَةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟»

✧ A man disparaged Aisha in the presence of Ali, so Ammar said to him: 'Be quiet, despised and reviled! Would you harm the beloved of the Messenger of God ﷺ?'
