✧ The Marriage of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khadijah, Her Age, Her Death, and Some of Her Stories

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ

«نَكَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَائِشَةَ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتٍّ وَأُهْدِيَتْ إِلَيْهِ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ وَلُعَبُهَا مَعَهَا وَمَاتَ عَنْهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married A'ishah when she was six years old, and she was brought to him when she was nine, and her dolls were with her, and he died when she was eighteen.
