حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
اسْتَأْذَنَتْ هَالَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ أُخْتُ خَدِيجَةَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَشَبَّهَهُ بِاسْتِئْذَانِ خَدِيجَةَ فَارْتَاحَ لِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ هَالَةُ» فَغِرْتُ وَمَا غِرْتُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ زَادَ مِنْجَابٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ «لِكَثْرَةِ ذِكْرِهِ إِيَّاهَا وَلَقَدْ تَزَوَّجَنِي بَعْدَهَا بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ»

✧ Halah bt. Khuwaylid, the sister of Khadijah, asked permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ. He likened her asking permission to Khadijah's asking permission and was gladdened by that. He said, 'O Allah, Halah!' I became jealous, and I have not been jealous of anyone as I was jealous of Khadijah. Minjab added in his narration: 'because of how often he mentioned her. He married me three years after her.'
