✧ The Marriage of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khadijah, Her Age, Her Death, and Some of Her Stories

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

أَتَى جِبْرِيلُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «هَذِهِ خَدِيجَةُ قَدْ أَتَتْكَ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ إِدَامٌ وَطَعَامٌ وَشَرَابٌ فَإِذَا أَتَتْكَ فَأَقْرِئْ عَلَيْهَا السَّلَامَ مِنْ رَبِّهَا وَبَشِّرْهَا بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ»

✧ Jibrīl came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: “Here is Khadījah coming to you with a vessel containing condiment, food, and drink. When she comes to you, convey to her greetings of peace from her Lord, and give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise of hollow pearl, in which there is no clamor and no toil.”
