✧ The Marriage of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Khadijah, Her Age, Her Death, and Some of Her Stories

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا مَيْسَرَةُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسٌ مَعَ خَدِيجَةَ إِذْ أَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ «يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَقْرِئْ خَدِيجَةَ مِنِّي السَّلَامَ وَبَشِّرْهَا بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا أَذًى فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ»

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting with Khadījah, Jibrīl ﷺ came to him and said: “O Muhammad, convey to Khadījah greetings of peace from me, and give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise of hollow pearl, in which there is no harm and no toil.”
