حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَأُمُّهَا زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ إِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا عَنْ عَاتِقِهِ وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ سُجُودِهِ حَمَلَهَا عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ بِهَا حَتَّى فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to prayer carrying Umamah bint Abi al-‘As b. al-Rabi‘ on his shoulder—her mother was Zaynab bint the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he bowed he put her down from his shoulder, and when he finished his prostration he carried her on his shoulder. He continued doing that with her until he finished his prayer.
