al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 19362

✧ Umm Kulthum bt. Rasul Allah ﷺ passed away during his lifetime.

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُثْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ وابْنِ عَجْلَانَ سَمِعَا عَامِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ وَأُمَامَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا رَفَعَ مِنَ السُّجُودِ أَعَادَهَا»

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ leading the people in prayer while Umamah bint Abi al-‘As b. al-Rabi‘ was on his shoulder. When he bowed he put her down, and when he rose from prostration he returned her.
