حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ وعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصَّابُونِيُّ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السُّدِّيُّ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ النُّورِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَسْرُوقٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
سَأُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أَطْلُبُ الشَّهَادَةَ لِلْحَدِيثِ فَلَمْ أُرْزَقْهَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ يَقُولُ وَنَحْنُ نَسِيرُ مَعَهُ «إِنَّ اللهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُزَوِّجَ فَاطِمَةَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ فَفَعَلْتُ» قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِنَّ اللهَ بَنَى جَنَّةً مِنْ لُؤْلُؤَةِ قَصَبٍ بَيْنَ كُلِّ قَصَبَةٍ إِلَى قَصَبَةٍ لُؤْلُؤَةٌ مِنْ يَاقُوتٍ مُشَذَّرَةٍ بِالذَّهَبِ وَجَعَلَ سُقُوفَهَا زَبَرْجَدًا أَخْضَرَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا طَاقَاتٍ مِنْ لُؤْلُؤٍ مُكَلَّلَةً بِالْيَاقُوتِ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ عَلَيْهَا غُرَفًا لَبِنَةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَلَبِنَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلَبِنَةٌ مِنْ دُرٍّ وَلَبِنَةٌ مِنْ يَاقُوتٍ وَلَبِنَةٌ مِنْ زَبَرْجَدٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ فِيهَا عُيُونًا تَنْبُعُ فِي نَوَاحِيهَا وَحُفَّتْ بِالْأَنْهَارِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَى الْأَنْهَارِ قِبَابًا مِنْ دُرٍّ قَدْ شُعِبَّتْ بِسَلَاسِلِ الذَّهَبِ وَحُفَّتْ بِأَنْوَاعِ الشَّجَرِ وَبَنَى فِي كُلِّ غُصْنٍ قُبَّةً وَجَعَلَ فِي كُلِّ قُبَّةٍ أَرِيكَةً مِنْ دُرَّةٍ بَيْضَاءَ غِشَاؤُهَا السُّنْدُسُ وَالْإِسْتَبْرَقُ وَفُرِشَ أَرْضُهَا بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ وفُتِقَ بِالْمِسْكِ وَالْعَنْبَرِ وَجَعَلَ فِي كُلِّ قُبَّةٍ حَوْرَاءَ وَالْقُبَّةُ لَهَا مِائَةُ بَابٍ عَلَى كُلِّ بَابٍ حَارِسَانِ وَشَجَرَتَانِ فِي كُلِّ قُبَّةٍ مَفْرَشٌ وَكِتَابٌ مَكْتُوبٌ حَوْلَ الْقِبَابِ آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ قُلْتُ «يَا جِبْرِيلُ لِمَنْ بَنَى اللهُ هَذِهِ الْجَنَّةَ؟» قَالَ بَنَاهَا لِفَاطِمَةَ ابْنَتِكَ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ سِوَى جِنَانِهَا تُحْفَةٌ أَتْحَفَهَا وَأَقَرَّ عَيْنَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ

✧ I will tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I have kept seeking martyrdom for that hadith but have not been granted it. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the expedition of Tabuk saying, while we were traveling with him, "Allah commanded me to marry Fatimah to Ali, so I did." Jibril ﷺ said, "Allah built a garden of hollow pearl, between each hollow and the next a pearl of ruby studded with gold, and made its roofs green chrysolite, and placed in it arches of pearl crowned with ruby. Then He placed over it chambers, a brick of silver, a brick of gold, a brick of pearl, a brick of ruby, and a brick of chrysolite. Then He placed in it springs flowing in its corners, and it was bordered with rivers, and He placed over the rivers domes of pearl linked with chains of gold, and it was bordered with various trees, and He built in every branch a dome, and placed in every dome a couch of white pearl whose covering is fine silk and brocade, and its ground was spread with saffron and perfumed with musk and ambergris, and He placed in every dome a houri. The dome has one hundred doors, at each door two guardians and two trees, in every dome a spread, and around the domes was written the Verse of the Throne." I said, "O Jibril, for whom has Allah built this garden?" He said, "He built it for Fatimah, your daughter, and Ali b. Abi Talib, besides her other gardens, as a gift He bestowed and to delight your eyes, O Messenger of Allah."
