حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا ابْنَتِي يَعْنِي فَاطِمَةَ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي يُرِيبُنِي مَا أَرَابَهَا وَيُؤْذِينِي مَا آذَاهَا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit, praised and extolled Allah, then said: “My daughter – meaning Fatimah – is only a part of me; what distresses her distresses me, and what harms her harms me.”
