حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الصَّائِغُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ «إِذَا خَرَجَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ فَلْيَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ حَسْبِي اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ»

Translation

  4. Yazīd b. Khuṣayfah from his father from his grandfather

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: "When one of you leaves his house, let him say: In the name of Allah; there is no power and no strength except with Allah; whatever Allah wills; I have put my trust in Allah; Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs."
