حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جُنَيْدَةَ الْفِهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَقَى عَطْشَانَ فَأَرْوَاهُ فُتِحَ لَهُ بَابٌ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ ادْخُلْ مِنْهُ وَمَنْ أَطْعَمَ جَائِعًا فَأَشْبَعَهُ وَسَقَى عَطْشَانَ فَأَرْوَاهُ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ كُلُّهَا فَقِيلَ لَهُ ادْخُلْ مِنْ أَيُّهَا شِئْتَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever gives water to a thirsty person and quenches his thirst, a gate of Paradise is opened for him and it is said to him, ‘Enter through it.’ And whoever feeds a hungry person and satisfies him, and gives water to a thirsty person and quenches his thirst, all the gates of Paradise are opened for him and it is said to him, ‘Enter through whichever you wish.’”
